There were high expectations from Muse at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014. Muse is a label that consistently produces flattering, striking evening wear. This collection, "Foil Wrapped Candy" referenced some key international trends such as metallic fabric and belted evening dresses. It included some remarkable pieces but somehow fell a little flat. One of the key issues was the fall and fit of the metallic fabric, which didn't quite work with the drapey cuts. Nevertheless this was a brave, creative collection and did show sparks of the brilliance Muse is capable of.
