Elan by Khadijah Shah is always the one to watch at fashion week. Elan's pop art collection at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week was no exception. This was one of the most striking collections of fashion week - glamorous and chic with ecletic detailing. Khadijah Shah goes from strength to strength as a designer. This collection was very different from her 2013 collection in look and yet felt like an extension of her earlier work. Elan does do Eastern wear and does it very well, but this show was not about bread-and-butter fashion. Of all the designers who chose to show western wear, Elan's was the collection that may have looked at home on an international ramp. The collection may have little relevance to the average Pakistani woman but it had the thrill, creativity and drama that make the best Fashion Week spectacles.
