Cool and creative, Adnan Pardesy's Eximius collection for Fashion Pakistan Week was truly inspired. Weaving the golden lace used for gota work into a fabric, Pardesy showed a range of jackets, dresses and pants crafted from this unique fabric. The stiffness of the fabric presented technical challenges that Pardesy handled admirably, apart from on a couple of outfits where the fit was slightly off. Structured separates in the golden fabric were elegantly paired with flowing ivory pieces. Pardesy also used similar woven fabric in bronze, red and antique silver - again pairing the stiffer woven fabric with flowing fabrics for a look that was attractive and original.
